Pandora's box has been opened, and here is its thunder. An audiovisual journey into the more experimental and electroacoustic sound of Niño (Ignacio Valbuena) through the retrofuturist imaginary from Birikú Sistema (Alberto Marcos) and Juan Carlos Quindós.

Taking the witness of the show that they premiered together at Sónar2015, their expressive resources evolve from a series of shared obsessions: analog versus digital, harmony versus noise, story versus abstraction, recycling versus invention, etc., apparently opposite concepts but trying to find an artistic synthesis in their territories fields:

In terms of music, this time Niño takes a step further (or beyond?) And delves into improvisation, progressive music, sub-frequencies and noisy ambient, through four concatenated pieces that always let the light glimpse under the layers of drones. Sounds that seem to be expelled from inside a pulsar.

He is accompanying him with a work of "live-cinema" that recycles and reinterprets some fragments of experimental cinema from the early and mid-20th century with geometric and purist roots, seen under the digital or analog magnifying glass of Quindós' eye behind a Fresnel glass. The programming and the live digital generative image finally act as a catalyst between auditory and sound subjects in this "journey" in which searching for the "wonder" hidden in the box also carries its risks.
